Madrid, Spain – SchoolMarket, Spain’s first educational marketing agency, has finalized a strategic collaboration agreement with the Doctrina Qualitas Group (DQ) to gain academic support from its U.S. partner university, Sabal University (Florida), and offer dual degrees from the North American institution.
The Doctrina Qualitas Group and SchoolMarket share a common goal: to broaden educational horizons and enhance career opportunities for individuals through international academic programs. To this end, and leveraging the academic framework DQ has developed in the U.S. with Sabal University, both institutions will implement academic recognition from Sabal University for programs created by SchoolMarket.
The first step will be the “University Expert in Marketing and Communication for Educational Centers” program. This program—aimed at school administrators and education professionals who want to specialize in marketing and communication, as well as marketing professionals looking to work in the education sector—has already been recognized for the past nine years by the Universidad a Distancia de Madrid (UDIMA) through its own professional certificate programs. The new recognition from Sabal University now gives the program an international dimension and provides students with a dual diploma.
DQ and SchoolMarket view this agreement very positively. “The globalization and internationalization processes that all educational institutions pursue offer students countless advantages. We can highlight standing out and strengthening their résumés as two of the most important benefits. But it also adds the ability to pursue further studies in different educational systems and to access programs whose content has been evaluated by academic bodies from multiple institutions, ensuring a more rigorously vetted quality.” Any of these features gives students a significant advantage when applying for jobs or advancing within an organization, thanks to their ability to demonstrate superior preparation.
Both SchoolMarket and DQ are aware that achieving these goals and providing students with this type of dual accreditation is not easy. However, after an intensive period of joint work, access to a top-tier specialization program for education professionals, featuring this dual European (UDIMA) and U.S. (DQ and Sabal University) accreditation, is now a reality.
The representatives of the three institutions, Víctor Núñez Fernández (SchoolMarket), Alejandro Truébano (DQ), and René Aguirre, President and Rector of Sabal University, have praised the entire process and expressed their full confidence that this joint program marks the beginning of a relationship that will lead to various activities to further enhance, if possible, the educational offerings and opportunities for students. Truébano noted that “after the hard work that has allowed us to begin this collaboration, perhaps we can apply the famous quote attributed to Sir Winston Churchill: ‘Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.'” He added, “All that remains now is to work to make the most of this institutional agreement, in which internationalization and educational quality have set the standard.”
As the postgraduate director and head of SchoolMarket, Víctor Núñez is “very proud of this collaboration with DQ and Sabal University.” He stated, “We believe that offering our students from both Spain and the Americas a dual European and U.S. diploma not only broadens their academic horizons but also strengthens their professional prospects in an increasingly globalized market.” This agreement reflects “our commitment to providing excellent, international, and practical training that responds to the needs of the education sector.”
