SABAL University is proud to announce its outstanding participation in the Certification of Credentials for Career-Oriented Higher Education Institution Employees Program, awarded by Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU).
The prestigious Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) recognizes employees of career-oriented institutions who strive for excellence in their respective positions. This recognition adds to SABAL University’s commitment to providing quality education and supporting the professional growth of its staff.
Certified professionals receive a digital certificate with an embedded open badge to share and showcase their achievements. Additionally, participating institutions receive digital recognition seals to demonstrate and display their commitment to excellence.
SABAL University has excelled in the following CHEP programs: Excellence in Admissions, Excellence in Online Teaching, Excellence in Campus Operations, and Excellence in Career Services. These programs reflect the university’s commitment to developing competent and ethical employees who better serve their students and communities.
The CHEP certification program requires employees to complete forty-eight hours of approved training in their job function area. Approved training programs offer competency-based course options relevant to each CHEP concentration area, addressing the needs of both the institution and the individual. Participants must successfully pass each selected course to earn the CHEP certification.
